So recently I’ve been fascinated with Charles and Ray Eames. It’s more than just their work that interests me, but the personality and brilliance they brought to everything they touched. They each had their own magical view of the world, and they were determined on letting everyone be apart of it.

EAMES: The Architect and the Painter aired last night on PBS. I was really take back by how extremely complex they were, but they still managed to make sense of all their wondrous ideas and communicate them in such an unexpected way. They seemed so relentless when it came to pushing the envelope, and they were not afraid to do it all. It was this intense passion that turned their work into a precious commodity and permeated our culture. If you get the chance to see it, I highly recommend it.
